ASME lists Y14.5-2018, reaffirmed in 2024, as the version currently in effect.
Why edition matters
The applicable drawing standard and edition control interpretation. DraftFit keeps an explicit ISO/ASME selector so that terminology and available controls are not silently mixed.
2018 characteristic changes
DraftFit excludes concentricity and symmetry from its ASME Y14.5-2018 profile. Legacy drawings can still contain those symbols and must be interpreted using the standard edition specified by the drawing.
